Dr. Angie Sparks is a Family Physician. Since filming “The Doctor Fix” Group Health was acquired by Kaiser Permanente (KP) and she moved to Seattle for a new leadership role. She is now Medical Director for Clinical Knowledge Development & Support with KP Washington’s Clinical Improvement and Prevention team working on quality improvement, clinical practice guidelines, continuing medical education, and medical practice communications. She continues to care for patients at KP Washington’s Burien Medical Center. She lives in Seattle with her husband and 2 daughters.
Prior to this, she was Assistant Physician in Chief at the Group Health Olympia Medical Center where she practiced for 7 years.
She is an alumna of Cornell University and the University of Washington School of Medicine. Her residency in Family Medicine was Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, CA. She completed graduate studies in Medical Management at the University of Washington and Medicine & Management coursework with Kaiser Permanente. She serves on Executive Committee for the Washington Academy of Family Physicians.
