Mercy Medical Center Featured in National Documentary, “The Doctor Fix: A New Era of Modern Medicine”
BALTIMORE, Sept. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Mercy Medical Center has announced that “The Doctor Fix: A New Era of Modern Medicine,” a documentary in which Mercy staff are featured, will be air via public television stations nationwide, including Maryland Public Television. MPT will air the film on Sept. 17th, 8-9 a.m.
Producer Kate McMahon notes that “The Doctor Fix” explores America’s evolving healthcare system through interviews with patients, doctors, and others. “The Doctor Fix” is being distributed by the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA).
According to Mercy Health Services, Mercy Medical Center President and CEO Thomas R. Mullen, Mercy’s strategy continues to focus on bringing “patient-centered care” throughout Maryland, a strategy explored in the film.
